Hi, Everyone! The 40th reunion planning is on ... a great milestone don't you think?! Go the Kearny High School 1971 Reunion site on Facebook and then email us at that address to let us know you are interested in attending. It will be at the Ramada Inn at Newark Airport on Saturday, October 8, 2011. Right now we are collecting email addresses and mailing addresses. Patti Chapman, Debbie Iverson, Carole Hackett and I are the "planners". So, remember me? I was the one everyone picked on or at least that's the way I remember it! I've come a LONG way since those shy and innocent days! About a year and half ago I reconnected with one of our former classmates, Harry [aka Harrison now] Gould. We've known each other since the days at the Oakwood Avenue Baptist Church's Sunday School. You just never know what life brings you or whom! Another great chapter in my life! will celebrate 40 years at Prudential in July of 2011. Hard to believe I've been there that long. I've seen many changes in the company as I worked my way up the ranks to my current management position of Project Manager, Administration ... an Office Manager to a group of 50 in Global Communications [aka Public Relations]. I do a little bit of everything from solving their computer problems, keeping track of expenses and tracking news stories about the company. And, hopefully keeping the area organized and somewhat happy. The hours are sometimes long, but the people are great, if sometimes demanding, but I can't imagine working anywhere else! Recently I've reached out to a few former classmates and made a few new friends. A group of us get together monthly for a "Kearny Girls Night Out". Write if you'd like, I'd love to hear what's going on in your life. And, I hope you can make it to our 40th Class Reunion. Stephanie
